Christopher "Kit" Carson was a true American legend: He could shoot a man at 200 yards, trap and hunt better than the most skilled Indian, and follow any trail - even in the dead of night. His courage and strength as an Indian fighter earned him respect throughout the West. But all of his skills were put to the test when he got caught up in a manhunt no one wanted him to make. The beautiful daughter of a Missouri colonel had been taken by a group of trappers heading for the mountains, and Kit was determined to find her - even if he had to risk his life to do it!

This is the start of the kit Carson series. Kit puts me in mind of Tye Watkins. Kit is trying to find a girl that's missing. The Colonels daughter. Kit will go to any extreme to find her. I liked the way this book plays out. Kit and friends work together. I will continue with this series. I will also listen to this book again later. The Author is new to me. I bought this book because I like Rusty Nelson. Rusty Nelson does a great job narrating this book. If my review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below. Thank you.
