Awesome book

Awesome job at citing scripture and providing relevant situational prayers. The narration was spot-on too. Very educational for faith-based clinicians trained in secular modalities.

Keep my Attention

Great guide and reference if you are pursuing a crisis and trauma job. Also, could be used as a self help book to understand what your experiencing.

Too few actual interventions

This book is primarily made up of defining what trauma, crisis and grief are. The examples to explain each are numerous with little done to explain how to utilize proper counseling techniques to help those in need.
