Not for the experienced hunter.

This book is for the novice hunter. I have been hunting for over 30 years. Too much junk was recommended to take hunting. Keep it simple.

A good place to start for beginners

It's a waste of time for anyone with hunting experience.

"Covered" all the topics, with a surprising lack of specificity. It was like listening to a lawyer or politician who doesn't want to be held liable for what they say. It's a good place to start for beginners and gives them an idea of what topics they need to research before going on their first hunt. key being they will need to read/research more after reading the book. It is not a complete guide to deer hunting.

Do not purchase

Pretty awful listen. There is no tangible information about what to do. Information is very generic and basic. You can get better information talking to friends who hunt.
