Black-ops espionage. Relentless action. One man against the shadows.

Stirling Hunt doesn't exist. A deniable British asset with nothing to lose and everything to fight for, he's the weapon MI6 deploys when diplomacy fails and plausible deniability is essential.

From war-torn African jungles to the corridors of Whitehall, from blood diamonds in Zimbabwe to oligarchs' yachts in the Mediterranean, Hunt navigates a world where yesterday's allies are today's targets, and the truth dies with the witnesses.

Haunted by his parents' assassination. Trained by Britain's elite SBS. Hunted by enemies who should be dead. Hunt operates in the grey zones where governments fear to tread and corporations write their own laws.

Each mission pulls him deeper into a web of conspiracy that spans decades and continents. The Chechen mafia. Rogue intelligence assets. Corporate warlords. And somewhere in the shadows, the ghost of his mother—a woman he buried twenty years ago who might still be alive.

"Like Lee Child meets John le Carré in the heart of Africa." —Reader Review

"The action never stops. Hunt makes Jack Reacher look tame." —Reader Review

"Finally, a British thriller series to rival Vince Flynn." —Reader Review

Raw. Authentic. Uncompromising. This is military fiction stripped of its politics and dipped in gunpowder.

If you like Chris Ryan, Vince Flynn, Gregg Hurwitz, Jack Carr, or Stephen Leather, you'll get an adrenaline rush from this explosive spy thriller.

You'll only put it down to come up for air. Start the hunt now →

Loved the story the characters, plot. Writer one of the few who understands and must have lived in Southern Africa.
Virtual voice not so great, missed the afrikaans pronounciation and a few of the common names were dificult to decipher, like Ndlovu and Geldenhuys. Also lacks underdanding of the story and portraying it with emotion, rather it becomes monotonous sentence

Great story, do not rate the virtual voice high

This book seems abridged - it stops and starts in odd places making it difficult to follow. I also don’t enjoy AI read books and prefer those done by voice actors.

Too many breaks in the story

The computer generated audio was very distracting and often with inappropriate intonation and pronunciation. The characters were poorly developed and the timeframe of the books were difficult to discern. The main character presented as a pulp fiction character like Alan Quartermain or Doc Savage. I couldn't relate to him as he presented as a character out of time in the presented framework.

meh
