Prefer Stephen Thorne as narrator. Great story. Ellis Peters is an excellent storyteller. And if course Cadfael ❤️

Great story as ever

Brother Cadfael sets out on a journey of atonement with another brother who is in search of absolution. Along the way, dark secrets of the past are uncovered, and Cadfael must work to set everything right in the end. I enjoyed this one. We get to meet new characters and get away from the Abbey for a while. Patrick Tull, as always, does an incredible job telling the tale.

Road Trip!

Best. Narrator. Ever.
The story this time around was terribly predictable, but I could listen to this man read the phone book. I love Cadfael.

Not Ellis Peters' usual high standard
