I really enjoyed The Consistency Effect. It breaks things down in a way that made it easy for me to see where I’ve been getting in my own way. The examples are clear, and I appreciated how it focused on building small actions over time. It gave me a better sense of how to stay focused without feeling overwhelmed. I’ve already started using a couple of the suggestions, and they’re helping me stay on track with my goals.

I listened to this during my morning walks, and it quietly changed how I think about progress. Instead of hype or pressure, it focuses on showing up again and again, even on low-energy days. That hit home for me. I started applying it to my work routine, and things feel less chaotic already. It’s motivating without yelling at you, and that made it stick.

I like how the audiobook breaks down the idea that chasing flashy wins often leads to burnout, while small, intentional steps build clarity, confidence, and lasting growth without feeling overwhelming. I appreciated how it presents consistency as a practical framework rather than a vague buzzword, offering strategies that are realistic for daily life instead of lofty ideals. It also help see setbacks not as failures but as opportunities to refine their approach and stay on track. The narrator’s clear, encouraging style makes the concepts easy to absorb and put into action, leaving us motivated to take steady steps toward meaningful results.

I love when Brad Henderson, in the 3rd inning chapter discusses how its not the person that has the idea that wins, its the person who has the courage to send that first email, and makes that first call and who drives themselves off and turns their business idea into a “game-changing” product. This was so inspiring, because we can all write down ideas we have over and over again, but its the person who goes out and gets things done that wins. This was so inspiring to hear. This title is a great reminder to stay consistent and take action on your business, because when you follow that calling, you’ll get to where you need to go.

The key thing here is compounding and action
