Read, listened and gifted

A sign of aging, well for me, is that I’ve started gifting books. Not just the ones I’ve read, but I’ve bought this series and gifted it. I’ve enjoyed all of C.G.’s books! But I’ve read this full series, often sneaking away on breaks to sneak a few chapters in. I’ve also powered through most of the series here on Audible. I appreciate the character dynamics and how the stories are built.

Good story

This is almost a 5 star for me. seems like there is a long build up and a very short climax. Overall I like it.

Good plot, technical and storyline

Terrible narration. Boring voice, subpar character voices. Will have to make note of this narrator and not purchase any other books he narrates.

Continuing engagement of my attention.

The series is very engaging and builds interestingly on each book. I am left wondering what happened to the creepy congressman in book five. Perhaps that was something I simply missed.

Horrible Narration

Storylines aren’t bad, if not a little cheesy. But the narration…my god. Who audits these things? Finishing book 6 now just because I purchased the bundle. Done after this, all because of poor storytelling
