Read this book if you have ever been a part of a high-control environment, be that religion, political/activist ideology, family—if you’ve experienced it you know it isn’t limited to what culture widely paints as a “cult”. I grew up in one of these and, much like Ben shares here, I participated because of a deep longing to belong. After reading this book, I feel compelled to share which makes it worth every penny. Not your average self-help book, my friends. Be prepared to be inspired.
