I loved this book so much, couldn't wait to read the next one and the next one and the next one in the series! All the answers come at the end - all the while telling a wonderful story! I hated to see the series end.

Ever so open ended

Enjoyed the story but looking for an ending. What happened to the baby. What is the next chapter or series book called.

i drive for a living so it kept me awake big time i couldn't stop listening and though it ended well i had to get the next one "the betrayal"

Doesn’t have an ending. 😢

I’ve been listening to this prolific author recently. Maybe 9 or 10 books. Of these only one had a true ending which was ‘The Fiddler’. I think a book is much more satisfying to know what happens to the characters. All that put aside, Beverly Lewis tells a good story. It’s kind of sad, though, that the Amish read their bibles but don’t know how to have a relationship with Jesus Christ, son of God. Yet they are quick with their rules.
I think I’ll be putting Lewis’ books back on the shelf for awhile.
