Don't bother

Story is predictable. Narration is terrible. There's nothing as bad as faking a southern accent! don't even bother!! Sex scenes at the end were incongruous with the totally vanilla story. Was this constructed by a committee?

I thought she was alittle to judgemental on him..but guess it worked out.it was ok.

Not my favorite

Almost DNF, but decided to stick it out. I like floof, but this was too much.

Dear Author,

Finding the sweet spot in building a character that has issues yet is still lovable is an art and you missed the mark with Morgan.

I get how a woman can have daddy issues and be leary of mean with short tempers however, a nurse who works in a ER should also know that not all men are bad. He was not abusing her physically, verbally or emotionally.

Also a man showing anger toward another man isn't the same as a man abusing his wife and kids. She diagnosed him with PTSD and kept him from his kid but what about her. She is also screams PTSD and everyone around her just allowed her to stay broken. Marrying a man who is good doesn't fix that in 6 months.

The way she viewed men came off as if the authors views were bleeding into the pages.

Unfortunately you succeed in creating a main female character I hate.

Narrator was just so/so.

Thankfully I was able to listen on the Audible Plus catalog or I would have returned this book.

definitely a book where the female main character has a victim mentality! they both need therapy! Morgan's character was irritating.
