Clint and August fall back into an easy friendship. Some of their best childhood memories are the days they spent at the creek: talking, laughing, and learning about who they were. But now they’re adults, the attraction palpable between them. It’s not long before they’re tumbling into bed, stealing moments for secret kisses and spending days exploring each other.

They can’t move too fast, though. Reese misses his other father, and sometimes August worries Reese would rather be with him. They’re just getting their life on track, and the last thing August wants is to shake it up by telling Reese he’s with Clint. But as it turns out, that’s not the only obstacle in their way….

love this author. the story was sweet with little angst. great characters and great narration. I love the friends to lovers trope. very good book with just enough steamy parts

A wonderfully written, Second chance friends to lovers romance! Mature sexy MC's will make you swoon! Moving and Heartfelt...may even bring a tear?

I want more please!

I really enjoyed this. I listened to it and the narration was great. I really hope we have more stories in this realm! More mature men is my jam right now! So tired of reading about 20 year olds in love.

Best one yet

This one is my favorite of the Briar County series. I loved the story from start to finish. It was engaging and moving. The narration was outstanding, as usual! Bravo!!

Excellent Series

I liked all the Briar County books but this one had me actually fighting back tears at the end. Oh my gosh, I love this community, and Kale Williams just brought it to life.
