Trapped by the advancing fungal growth, Charlie, Steven and Jack attempt a desperate gambit—one that may have dire consequences for them all. Meanwhile, Stacey, Caroline, Lindsey and Grace's preparations take a disturbing turn when they come face to face with more dangers than they could have possibly imagined in Book 2 of End of Seasons.

From 4-million-copy bestselling author Mike Kraus comes an explosive new thriller series: End of Seasons.

Across the country, a genetically engineered fungus has escaped its laboratory confines and now grows at an unstoppable, impossible pace, consuming everything in its path and releasing spores so deadly that even a single breath can kill.

In the rugged Colorado Rockies, three generations—grandfather Charlie, father Steven and grandson Jack—are on their yearly camping trip when they receive a mysterious text message from home warning of the catastrophe. With communications down and half of the country standing between them and home, every mile becomes a battle for survival and a race to get home before the world is swallowed by the mysterious new threat.

Meanwhile, at their family farm in Virginia, Stacey Winters, her daughter Grace, her mother Caroline, and her sister-in-law Lindsey struggle to prepare for the nightmare sweeping toward them. As society unravels, they must protect their home and somehow fortify against an enemy that cannot be explained, reasoned with or stopped.

With each passing hour, the fungal threat grows farther, faster, and deadlier.

There are no second chances.

There is only survival... or extinction.

Developed by Mike Kraus and written by Mike Kraus and Aiden Cross, End of Seasons is a 6-book thriller series that is guaranteed to leave you sleepless as you turn "just one more page" well into the night.

Keeps you on the edge of your seat all the way through. A good book, can't wait to listen to part 3.

The theory was good. A man made deadly fungus that moves abnormally fast and consumes/kills everything in its path. I’ve read lots of apocalyptic books but I prefer the ones that are plausible. Not a supercharged fungus that can be a horror movie like the Fog. That said what got me bored with this particular book is the details in every little action the characters were doing. There was a full chapter on just how the women taped the windows /doors in the house with duct tape and how they sweated and drank water and baked bread afterwards. Once I finished that chapter couldn’t go forward. Didn’t care enough on how it ended.

Soooooo much detail. Couldn’t finish
