Story Excellent

I could not believe so many negative reviews. I have thoroughly enjoyed this series. I hope there will be more. The characters are well developed and the plot quite different from most mysteries.

story was ok, but I had hard time not drifting off as I found it hard to determine who the readers character was while he was talking as them

It kept my attention!

The narration was exceptional
The story and characters were compelling and identifiable. It was easy to dive in and be carried along with the tale.
I spent many days up too late reading.
The problem, I found the story improbable, too many holes, and ultimately a reach.

Engaging and Enjotable

I like the characters. I disliked the relative inconsistency of the main character between books one and two, and I was frustrated by the constant risk taking of the second primary character. Very smart, but also not so much :)
