The Crossover Detectives

I am a hard-nosed, experienced Detective First. I have solved some of the most vicious murders
you can imagine. But something changed. Suddenly the recently dead reached out to me, handing me
what I needed to solve cases.
However, that is not easy. How do I explain that I discovered the name of the killer from a ghost?
As if a key had turned, I loosened up, found the lover I was missing, and then, even more surprising,
she soon had the same skill. Not sure how that happened, but we welcomed it. The trick was
somehow masking that ability while benefitting with it.
We got very good at it, and the vignettes in
this tale will tell you stories that are scary, but in Homicide, more commonplace that you might
think. Stay sharp. It helps.
