Quick and Quirky

This is a really fast listen. It's light and entertaining completely 100% over the top and unbelievable but just go with it and enjoy the tale. Narration was done well and made it that much more enjoyable to listen. Great for your commute.

Fun, Hilarious, Sweet, and Entertaining!

This is the second book in the Life in Chatswain City Series, a Romantic Comedy. Abby and Lucas's story is so fun, sweet, entertaining, and captivating. Abby is a wonderful character, kind, talkative, and feisty. Lucas is handsome, enigmatic, and supportive. Their slow burn romance is engaging. I liked the humor, and the unexpected twists and turns in the story. Some scenes are hilarious! The friendship in this story is amazing. I love this series. Excellent narration from Michelle Croll. This audiobook is very pleasant to listen to. Definitely recommend it! Looking forward to listening to Blur the Lines, the next book in the series. #StoryOrigin

Mayhem and madness!

Abby is a walking timebomb or an accident waiting to happen. From the day she was born, trouble has followed her and today is no exception. Her boyfriend, Mark, broke up with her over the phone and she's out of work with no idea what she wants to do. As if that weren't bad enough, the doorbell rings and she's greeted by Lucas, a gorgeous cupcake delivery man with a box of cupcakes and a marriage proposal written on the accompanying note! Who would do that? Now she's had it and she kidnaps the van with Lucas inside because she's fed up with lying liars who lie! And the mayhem and madness commence. There are so many underlying plotlines that fit together seamlessly, and it appears that nobody is who they say they are, or at least they've stretched the truth. Lucas is undercover and in charge of bringing in a dangerous criminal and, of course, his takedown doesn't come easily. I enjoyed this crazy story so much that I went back to listen to it again.
Michelle Croll did a great job with the narration. She was able to keep all the characters apart and their personalities and quirks were voiced perfectly!

Funny and crazy

Can Abby’s day get worse after been fired, get evicted and dumped by her boyfriend by phone? Stealing a van and kidnapping handsome deliver guy will prove a challenge and will change Abby’s fate forever. Great audiobook by Michell Croll

Humorous Madcap RomCom

This 2nd story in the "Life in Chatswain City" series was amusing and fun. Abby's day went from bad to worse until she finally snapped. Lucas, who only wanted to make a cupcake delivery, was swept away by Abby's actions, which just steamrolled from one unfortunate event to another. I found the tale very entertaining. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series. Michelle Croll's narration was diverting, and her performance added to the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.
