As he delves deeper into the lives of the locals, he encounters Eleanor Finch, a grieving mother whose daughter is among the vanished. Eleanor reveals unsettling details of her daughter's transformation and eerie phenomena surrounding the Manor, including whispered warnings of dark figures that haunt the woods.

Haunted by memories of his own confrontations with evil, Thomas grapples with the growing influence of a malevolent entity he carries within him as he seeks to unearth the hidden darkness.
