This is actually the first series that I have ever listened to .. ever! So far it's great

This ranks with the first of this series - that story is very well written

Which scene was your favorite?

I very much enjoyed when Jane was beginning to have some 'power' over her past family - loved to finally see her 'win'.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I listen in my car and there were for sure a few - 'Ohh' .. 'No way!' 's that came out

If you are looking to read the books because of the show - you will be very surprised!
The book and show are VERY different. This is why I began listening and was a bit shocked by the HUGE differences, but the story is very good and I enjoy both. Very sad the show is being cancelled - I feel like they could have brought both together.

Where does The Dark Glamour rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

i have listened to a lot of different audiobooks, i really enjoy the fun stories that doesn't require much thinking because i listen to books while i work. since i work in a factory it is ideal!!

Who was your favorite character and why?

my favorite character is jane. I love the fact that she went into this "world" not knowing who is was and her grace in having to deal with a dysfunctional family she married into and her new powers that she is still trying to get a grasp on.

What does Ilyana Kadushin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love the way she reads stories. She has different inflections for all of the characters and her voice is so soothing you easily get lost in the story!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

not really an extreme reaction, i just couldn't wait to listen to the next one...which is on preorder status!

ENJOY THE 2ND BOOK IN A STORY YOU'LL LOVE

How do you rid yourself of a powerful witch? Follow Jane as she learns about being a witch and much love.

Brilliant followup story, very entertaining.. but

The twists and turns are great and the story very entertaining.

However the ending is too abrupt, obviously promising a third installment, just in a rather un-satisfactory way.

Overall a very good sequel worth listening to, but having to wait for the third book will get annoying.

Ilyana Kadushin performs spectacularly well as always!

Not quite as good as the first one.

I don't normally like these romantic with a bit of horror stories but the first title in this series wasn't bad. The second, though.....a bit of a dissapointment. I'm not certain that I want to try #3. This series might continue to go downhill.
