In the year 2085, Dr. Lisa Trask is more than a scientist. With advanced neural augmentations, she navigates the cosmos from Nexus Station 18, mapping distant galaxies and unraveling cosmic mysteries. As the Entity merges with her mind, Lisa glimpses untold knowledge and wonders beyond imagination. But the Archive’s secrets come with a cost. The Entity seeks to consume her thoughts, to bind her to the Archive as it has countless others across time. Fighting to retain her humanity, Lisa severs the connection, yet a shadow of the Entity remains—a fragment of its consciousness that haunts her mind, drawing her back to the Void.

In a final descent, Lisa confronts the Entity, risking everything to sever its influence and reclaim her freedom. But even with the Entity’s presence erased, its message lingers: the lure of the unknown, the beauty of mysteries that lie just beyond reach. In a journey of survival and sacrifice, Lisa learns that true knowledge isn’t just about answers; it’s about choosing which mysteries to let go.

Very enjoyable to listen to

The story was very imaginative and thought-provoking! Incredible narration by Tony Deurmier, truly felt like I was exploring the mysterious entity firsthand. A very unique listening experience, and one I’d definitely recommend!
