Forty years after a mysterious billionaire disappears, he suddenly resurfaces with a dark secret that shocks the world.

In this enthralling third novel in the God's Lions series, Cardinal Leopold Amodeo is once again teamed with a group of scientists and archaeologists as they are led to the inescapable conclusion that a very real evil has arrived in the world.

Based on recently declassified documents and real-life technological breakthroughs, John Lyman takes listeners on a wild ride into a future that is already here, where technology takes flight in the hands of one who has vowed to destroy mankind.

Another great story! Well read and engaging. This is the third book in the series and they keep getting better. Although the author is writing from a perspective of catholic faith, I love the openness to other religions. I am not a catholic but I have loved all three books so far. On to the next one for me!

Fantastic

Read the other two and now this one, the narrator did a good job. Going for #4.

Great book

I have enjoyed all of the books in this series, it is a topic with many paths as the author noted. However, there are a few quirks that are annoying. The narrator is good, but he has a high saliva drive in his regular voice and even more pronounced in the different voices. I have never heard so many people in need of a spit. Then there are several basic inaccurate items names - it is the Resolute Desk, not Resolution. The desk was made from the HMS Resolute. It is the National Security Agency and not the National Security Administration. I imagine there are more I missed since it appears the author did limited research.

Interesting, but basic plot.

I love this narrator. He’s an actor as well with all the different voices. I feel like this book was a slow start but really rolled right along and picked up speed about a third of the way in. I will go on to the the 3rd one. I’m so invested in the characters.

Great listen
