Alcatraz Smedry has successfully defeated the army of Evil Librarians and saved the kingdom of Mokia. Too bad he managed to break the Smedry Talents in the process. Even worse, his father is trying to enact a scheme that could ruin the world, and his friend, Bastille, is in a coma. To revive her, Alcatraz must infiltrate the Highbrary—known as The Library of Congress to Hushlanders—the seat of Evil Librarian power.

Without his Talent to draw upon, can Alcatraz figure out a way to save Bastille and defeat the Evil Librarians once and for all?

Once again "Brandon Sanderson" *wink, wink* knocks it out of the park in this "final" autobiographical installation. What an amazing life you have had.

What an ending!!!

Very good start to finish, and the ending? I never ever saw that coming and I knew he would end this series well.

Alcatraz has outdone himself

There had better be another book Brandon Sanderson! If not, I declare that the worst ending ever for a series!

The off the wall adventure continues, and my 17 year old son and I have been really enjoying and honestly a bit hooked on this series! We've loved the quirky narrative biography style. This series is good for any age as long as they have a sense of humor and don't need things to go in a traditional fashion. Here's to hoping Alcatraz changes his mind and writes another book. 😉

The narrator does a fantastic job and really made it even more fun to listen to.

Parents- PG - elementary on up

Crazy Epic Finale... or is it?

Amazing story, nobody does it better than Brandon Sanderson. A.k.a. Alcatraz Smedry. May this beautifully orchestrated autobiography help take down the evil librarians. And may Alcatraz never experience death by balefire. Such an act would be detrimental to the free kingdoms.

Best author ever!!!
