This small anthology is a collection of short stories and drabbles that feature Death and desolation in varying degrees. Whether it is a lonely man travelling through a dead England, a post nuclear journey home, a man in chains, the apocalypse caused by an innocuous plant, hope from the infected, or nocturnal visitations, they all offer the loneliness and isolation.

Creepy and twisted in a good way

This was a great collection of short horror stories that all focus on death and desperation. They don't try to focus on gore and shock like some of these anthologies do. The narration is done is good. There is a little bit of background noise in places, but not so much that it bugged me enough to stop listening. All in all, this is a good short story collection.

pretty good collection

Decent collection of short stories. They definitely have a creep factor to them that had me wanting to listen to more. A mixed collection in length, some less than a minute, and I found that regardless the size, they each offered something unique. They all revolve around death somehow and fortunately they are not all zombie themed. Many were not what I would consider horror but all of them were dark and twisted. Overall a really good mixed collection of stories.
Paul Cram did a great job narrating the story. As this was all told in third person there wasn’t any character voices, although Cram provided a great narration with a good cadence and inflection. I felt that his tone was fairly somber which added to the bleakness of the overall stories.

Great short stories, some dark, some even with funny twists; all very interesting and entertaining. The narration is clear. The only thing I didn't like was a low but noticeable recording noise.

Great book, good narration, medium sound quality

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to these collection of short stories. I will warn that these stories are on the darker side, but if that's what you are expecting going into it, it will be quite enjoyable.

I thought the narrators performance was really well done. my only complaint would be the equipment that was used to record the audio. At times I could hear feedback from the mic and the narrators voice seemed a bit muddled. If better equipment were to be used, I'd increase the rating to a 4 or 5.
