In 1933, six young men calling themselves the Pocola Mining Company leased land near Spiro, Oklahoma, on which a Native American burial mound stood. They proceeded to dig into one of the most significant burail mounds in America looking for Spanish gold. What they found were hundreds of skeletons and thousands of priceless artifacts which they discarded and destroyed.
When Hank Jones's grandfather is found dead on his farm a few miles from Spiro, Hank fears that his grandfather may have been murdered. He invites his college buddy, Vic Chicowski, who is a private investigator in California, to look into the case. Follow Vic and his FBI girlfriend, Samantha Swartz, as they help Hank discover how his grandfather died. Was it murder, suicide, or a legendary Native American monster? What does drug trafficing and a Mexican Cartel have to do with it?
