Narrator was great as usual. The story line was very interesting and was easy to listen too. It had a little humor and mystery add into the love story which made the book well worth the credit.

Great story

After reading this book, I’m glad I read it out of order. It would have been depressing to read a love story only to have it end with an affliction bestowed upon the hero. Well no worries here since it all ends as it should. I love Maggie’s personality in this book. She is kind and giving but most importantly I adore that she takes risks in order to save those she loves. A good lesson for us all.
I do find the passion scenes very blah and unmoving. A bit more passion would have been better than just getting the deed done and then saying I can’t believe it was supposed to feel this good. Huh? I was confused as to what part of wham bam thank you ma’am was so extraordinary. Anyway, if you can overlook that as well as anything to do with the reality of a curse, then you are in luck with this book.

Phew. Glad I read this book in the series first!!

Oh no it's finished - last of the Regency trilogy about the Chattan curse and what an enjoyable finish it was.

The beautiful Margaret seeks an end to the curse which is believed to be destroying her brothers which takes her to the Highlands and into the arms of Laird Heath (a kind and thoughtful Highland hunk). A passionate tale of curses, the paranormal, romance, double crossings, murder, mystery, danger, healing, forgiveness, memorable characters and a magic white cat called Owl.

Worth a credit? Yes, and it could be a stand alone listen but book 1 Lyon's Bride and 2 The Scottish Witch are enjoyable too.

AHHH ...... WELL, LOVE CAN CONQUER ALL

While I recognize Cathy Maxwell's great talent, I am just no in love with her work. I love Rosalyn Landor and she probaby kept me from returning this book. The story is good....but cookie cutter of the previous 2. Different characters, different locale, same story. Will I listen again? Hmmmmm....not sure.

Just ok
