Nalie's cancer journal.

I've read the book before but decided to get the Audible version to hear Nalie narrate her own words.

Nalie Agustin was diagnosed at age 24 #nevertooyoung. She's worked hard to change how doctors regard young cancer patients because nobody is immune to cancer.

She originally received an early stage cancer diagnosis and enjoyed an all too brief window of remission only to be rediagnosed stage IV five years ago when the cancer was discovered to have metastasised to her lungs.

The cancer progressed to her brain and liver. Nalie fought long and hard and gave it her all. All the while she advocated for cancer patients and spoke to oncologists and doctors about things from the perspective of a younger cancer patient.

Sadly, Nalie has just passed away (March 22nd). It has been a devastating day for the breast cancer community. We have lost a powerful force and a voice advocating for our community. Her family has lost a partner, daughter, sister, aunt..... her friends a loyal friend.

My condolences to her family and loved ones. Nalie will not be forgotten.

A miracle in book form

I read The Diary of Nalie twice already and now to be able to hear her words in her own voice is powerful! There is so much wisdom for not only cancer, but LIFE. The way she writes has a way of touching your heart and soul. Nalie is living proof that you can get through anything in life and do it with LOVE. I highly recommend to anyone who needs a little light in their life.
