Couldn’t put it down!

Such an enjoyable read, the narration is incredible and the writing is great! Really enjoyed it and can’t wait for the next one!!

Got me out of my reading slump!

A narrator can really make or break an audiobook for me, and this one kept me engaged and interested as she builds the tension with each chapter and action sequence! This romantasy is fast-paced with unique world-building/magic systems and character relationships that surpass most BookTok books that are popular nowadays. Asha is such a strong, vulnerable, and likable main character, and her journey through military training is both action-packed and character-focused. Her relationship with Anselem is a slow-burn, which is a nice reprieve from all the spice-slop most authors are pumping out recently! This is one of those stories where I can’t wait for the second book to be released and see where the story goes!
