Absorbing YA Fantasy

This was my first experience with Jessica Kemery's work, and I enjoyed it a lot. Once the audiobook started, I had to listen until the end in order to find out what happened next. The story was written for a younger audience, but I enjoyed it. I appreciated the complex world building. I liked the characters. My only issue was that this book ended on a cliffhanger, but that wasn't too surprising as it is part of a series. Josh Casaubon's narration was great, and his performance enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Received as an audio review copy from Story Origin, this is an honest review. Narrated brilliantly by Josh Casaubon makes this uniquely vivid fantasy adventure that's intense as Mila, an up and coming dragon caretaker learns the vast complexities of the dragon clans are both breathtaking and dangerous she is only viewed in some eyes as a pawn as they heirs of two clans fight to determine the fate on control of their mysterious world. The paranormal beauty of these shifting dragons is captivating as their problems grounds this story is a realism that makes this a worthy journey.
