Another interesting fantasy story

I have lost track of how many books i have read by this author and he has never failed me. I have enjoyed every story. The author develops the characters really well and has a lot of adventure and mystery with a little bit of humor thrown in. This is the second in the series but you could read/listen alone and have a really good idea of what has happened already. Someone is killing people and trying to get Digger, the main character, blamed for the deaths. Digger sets out to stop the killings. There is violence but not an excessive or gory amount. There is no sex and not a lot of romance. A fun and entertaining story that even made me laugh out loud a few times.

Excellent Sequel

Digger along with his friends and enemies, which are ever-changing, continue their struggle to survive under the rule of the purebloods. Again, they are pitted against long odds and all manner of injustices, but still, they fight on. Plenty of action, political intrigue, and changing loyalties all the way to the exciting and satisfying End. The narrator, if you listen via Audible, is excellent.
