I had high hopes…

I was disappointed. Not a fan of the narrator. And there were some continuity errors that just really annoyed me.

I really appreciated the author's description of the afterlife - the potential for difficulty in letting go. There are several scenes of characters attempting to process the grief of losing their high school aged children that spoke true. Mr. Nowak went beyond the stereotypes to make each character's processing believable if not always sympathetic.
