Good sequel…

But the narrator puts on a weird quiver in his voice with many of the characters. It just starts to sound like the character is old or scared all the time. It’s annoying and distracting. It kept pulling me out of the story.

yup, that was a weird sequel.

well written, well read. Seemed quick and finished quicker. That's ok, seems to fit the story.
grim and strange and a whole lotta fun.

Bizarro Horror

Fans of the first DRIVE-IN by Joe Lansdale will love this sequel. Joe Lansdale weaves the first story with this sequel only as only the legendary story teller, Joe Lansdale can. Matt Godfrey gives us another top notch narration making this quick listen very enjoyable and I will be revisiting again soon.

Hilarious!

If you've read THE DRIVE-IN, then you're already familiar with the Popcorn King. In this book, we meet Pop-A-Long Cassidy, the man with a TV for a head. What's not to like?!

I think it's safe to say that if you liked the original story, you'll like this one too. It's full of the same snarky humor and dire situations. I had a total blast listening, as Matt Godfrey's narration is always great and to me, it sounded like he had a great time voicing this book.

Madness, comets, dinosaurs, creatures of all shapes and sizes, THE DRIVE-IN 2: NOT JUST ONE OF THEM SEQUELS is a crazy/fun/entertaining ride!

Don't bother..

Couldn't tell what the hell was going on in this story . i didn't like the narration or the casual approach to what could have been a serious tome.
