Favorite!

I am pretty sure this was an audible plus listen. I will immediately look at this authors other works. This story is right up there will all the greats. Give this a try!! Friendship, banter, perceived betrayal, and a nice bit of spice. So many little details about regency lifestyle’s. Also love that the author lets us glimpse their future life in the epilogue.

Loved this refreshing take on a common HR trope. It was a great start to a new series. The MMC and MFC were super likable and I loved the boys in the boat element and can't wait for the friends to get their HEA. My only complaint was there was a bit too much internal monologues for my liking. As always, Ashford McNabb was wonderful.

Ashford MacNab is as close to as auto buy as a narrator can get. And this one was perfect for her!
It was a cute and clever story, low angst, zero terror, and plenty of heat. Not the usual tale but not so unusual to turn off this regency loving reader.

Heat factor: steaming, hot!
