So much character in the voices

Wow, I was so immersed in this audiobook, the narrator Tom Cox gave so much character and life to the characters. And TJ's first book in the series is just in my top ten, there's so much authentic flushed out characters, a fantastic fantasy atmosphere, the battle scenes are possibly better than Tolkien. Unique and wonderful adventure, I definitely recommend

dark gritty and gripping.

the world is on the brink of an all out war. our heros must ban together and figure out who or what is happening.

This book is extremely dark. It gave me Berserk vibes and I was hooked at the end.

can't wait for more!

An interesting first entry

This was a decent first entry. I might continue once the next one is released. The narrator did a good job overall

Composition

This book was very well written and with the perfect amount of descriptive details to transport me to the world of the Dying Breed. The battle scenes were well written and the characters were given quite a lot of thought before being written into the story.

The narration was great! The subtle changes in voice for each different character helped to really bring the story to life and hold my interest captive.

Overall I really look forward to the next book in the series and I am patiently holding my breath to find out what happens next on this wonderful adventure.
