Sorry, but this seems like it was written in 1940. I read a few chapters and gave up.

Despite a 2023 stamp, this reads like a pre-critical, early-1900s “universal history.” It collapses centuries and polities (e.g., using “Chaldea” as a catch-all for southern Mesopotamia, blurring Assyria/Babylonia), and repeats 19th-century confusions about Medes vs. Persians. Biblical narratives are treated as straightforward history, with no source criticism. Non-Western traditions are caricatured. The book leans on outdated racial labels (“Caucasian,” “Caucasians of India”) that serious historians abandoned long ago. There’s no citation of sources, and whole passages echo public-domain texts almost verbatim. If you want evidence-based, readable history, look elsewhere.
