Caggie never wanted to be a hero, but some things are decided for us. Growing up among Manhattan’s social elite, Caggie always had everything she could want, including a storied last name. But after saving a girl from the brink of suicide, Caggie becomes infamous, and now all she wants is to be left alone.
After all, she’s still reeling from the death of her younger sister last January, the subsequent destruction of her relationship with her high school boyfriend, Trevor, and the way in which her family has since fallen apart.
So when mysterious Astor appears on the Upper East Side, he just might be the rescue she needs. But what is he hiding? As life as she knew it begins to unravel, Caggie realizes Astor’s past may be as dark as her own. And in a world in which she’s been branded a hero, Caggie will soon discover that no one can save you…not until you save yourself.

Critic reviews
"Narrator Devon Sorvari adopts a tone that reflects Caggie's sarcasm and moodiness, and also provides satirically exaggerated vocalizations of Caggie's superficial classmates. A deeper tone distinguishes the male characters, including Caggie's new love interest, Astor, a troubled young man with a dark backstory. Pensive piano music bookends the production."

The Edge of Falling by Rebecca Serle absolutely blew my mind.
This book pulled me in from the very first page and never let go. It’s emotional, raw, and beautifully written — the kind of story that makes you pause and reflect on grief, fate, love, and the fragile moments that can change everything.
I didn’t expect to feel this much. It was heartbreaking and hopeful at the same time, and long after I finished, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. If you’re in the mood for a powerful, soul-stirring read that truly stays with you, this one is a must. 🤍📚
