Why did I wait?

Why did I wait so long to delve into this author? This is my second book and I’m hooked. Such a sweet story. So much more than the description. And I also have a new favorite male narrator! His voicing of the character made me obsessed!

Great Story

The male narrator was sooo bad, it was really difficult to finish. I did fast forward through the flashbacks when Erik was the narrator.

Never disappoints

Great story and slow build of story. Happy ever after kind of story. Make narrator’s voice is not my favorite as he is talking thru his nose type of speaking. Other than that, I like the story.

Bouncing between past and present

Almost DNF. The male narrator is not up to dual narration, his characters sound comical.
My least favorite J. Saman work. They bounce between 12 years ago and today every other chapter.i got so bored with the past I started skipping those chapters.
FMC has two people after her that she seems to like equally. She lets both of them kiss her and manhandle her. No back bone. Friend at the edge of death in the center of the story doesn’t get much of an ending other than he lives.
They don’t do much, just constant days in the hospital. Flat characters. No compelling reason why they were separated. Meh

Great story, not so great narration.

The story was good, which is why I listened to the whole thing. However steamy erotic scenes should not be listened to in a robot staccato voice. And the male voice was like listening to old cd players right before the battery died. I cringed so much. This could have been so much more enjoyable with the right narrators.
