Three months touring Europe. Romantic. Dazzling. Unforgettable. The trip of a lifetime. But some lifetimes are shorter.
We couldn't have known it would work out this way. No one could. No one could've guessed that something so beautiful could be so tragic. But it is tragic. Yet so, so beautiful. That's what sacrifice is - beauty and tragedy. It's pain and suffering for something or someone you love. And this is the ultimate sacrifice. One stunning act of true love. This is our story. Our true love story.

I haven't read a book that I can compare to this.Which scene was your favorite?
There were so many. One of the most memorable scenes was the birth of their child. It was bittersweet. If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
A sacrificial loveAny additional comments?

Thought: I really enjoyed this book and the love story between Lena and Nate. I had tears falling freely during this book.
Warning: Save the prologue until the book is over. I am rating as 4 stars instead of 5 because of the prologue. The prologue gave away something that we should have been discovering while reading the book and it took away from my reading experience. I spent a good portion of the book pulling myself out of the story because of what I knew from the prologue rather than figuring it all out. I really disliked that. I should have been allowed to discover the story as it unfolded not had the important stuff given away before it even started.
Audible: I added the whispersync audible narration to my Kindle book. I listened to maybe half of it. I didn't really care for this narration. The narrator was often really breathy. Also, she really needed to use a filter in front of the microphone (or a much better filter if one was used) because all of the "ch", "sh", and some of the "s" sounds in words made loud noises and I had to listen at a really low volume because it hurt my ears and was really annoying.
A beautiful tear jerking love story
