The End as We Know It is an occult horror fiction novel about a Lovecraftian apocalypse. We don't explain ourselves to ants and the gods like them more than they do us. We don't explain how the pesticides work nor why we're using them. I really like the concept here. The Lovecraftian mythos and modern religion clashing together. My only dislike is I felt we spent too much time with the characters in the beginning but I get why
