A good introduction to a complicated character

This is a good introduction to the comic character and establishes his world in an interesting and entertaining way. The story could use a bit more action and urgency as the characters tend to meander at times. Looking forward to other titles in this series.

The best of Valiant

If you were ever interested in Valiant comics, this is a great place to start. Ari expertly written a love letter to the Eternal Warrior. Properly witty and engaging characters fill in the cast around Gilad, the Eternal Warrior. Ari absolutely nailed Gilad and his brothers in the novel. This novel could fit in between some comics without skipping a beat. If you are fan of the 90s Marvel prose series, you will appreciate that fact with this novel if you want to get into the comics as well.
