The Exhibit puts human emotions on display. It is a book between two cities - Cambridge and Manchester - with detours via wax museums and planetariums, it brings down the Berlin Wall and challenges censorship in Iran, reveals the love of gay marriage and has conversations with Alexander McQueen, Damien Hirst, and Sylvia Plath. This in an impressive collection by a young poet already known for his innovative, intense poetry that draws its energy from the light and dark of everyday life.

I've never really been a big fan of poetry but I took a creative writing class last semester and fell in love with poems. This is the first book of poetry I've listened to on audio and I really enjoyed it. Amazing poems and the author did a great job with narration as well. Looking forward to checking out more by this author.

how can you judge an artist it's very difficult for me although I came from poetry I know poetry and I can feel it when I was a kid my mother put me on a chair and I had to learn Pushkin lermontov Byron by heart I do understand poetry but I can't judge any of it I can say that I feel more for some poems in this collection I did fell for the poem to the editor or the poem about the Lost kid overall it's very weird to give points do an artist for his job but I did like some of the poems and I didn't feel for some of the others this is all about tastes and cords of the heart it's not the story that you can judge okay I didn't like the story because the flood wasn't enough or there was some holes in the book so maybe my review is a little bit confusing but hey poetry can be confusing as well

I requested this book because I'd heard another book of poems (Mercurial) by this author and I wanted to see how they'd compare. While I think the writing in Mercurial is slightly better, the author/narrator's slow contemplative style seems more suited to this collection which made for a better listening experience.

I enjoyed this book and look forward to seeing what else he has in store for us in the future.
