It's amazing how the author is able to write fantasy with such detail to plot and character development. He brings each character to life with a full backstory. The plot is consistent and concise.

The second in the series did not disappoint. Two story lines weave a tapestry of intrigue and mystery that merge at the climax for finale I didn't see coming. Bravo!

"The Eye of a Dragon" by Jack Adkins, narrated by
Michael Kramer is a great book for those who enjoy D&D, fantasy, epic, noblebright, dragons & mythical creatures, and action & adventure. It is a wonderful follow up to "The Blood of a Dragon" and continues to build on the ever growing story line and world Jack Adkins started, excellent job! A true page turner.

Crenthys believes she is a half-human half-sea-elf, but finds out that is not what she truly is when she regains her memories during this epic fantasy adventure. As she is drawn to protect her brother, her companions a shape-shifting Sea Elf Kelios and the witty red-skinned, dagger-wielding, goblin-jin Anuka Sandbar flee from the horde of Dragons hunting them on a commandeered pirate ship with newly freed slaves.

Although I loved and still love Anuka in the first book, and how he grew in both books. What I love the most in this book was how Crenthys thrives, in this book. In both books the main 3 characters all develop well, but Crenthys really develops by leaps and bounds in this books, and you learn so mich about her, the Dragon kind & all of the subsets from the Dragon kind, and why she was against them in the first book even though she really didn't remember.... but now she is starting to remember which helps her and the story develop as the story develops around her, Anuka, and Kelios.

Excellent follow-up! Pirates, Dragons, and Sea Elfs

Needed a little more character development but as always Kramer knocked it out of the park.

I enjoyed the second book in "The Dragons of Dorwine" series as much as the first one. The story featured some of my favorite characters from the first book and added a few new ones. I liked the variety of creatures that played a part of this tale. I was entertained by the fight scenes and the flashes of humor that percolated throughout. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Michael Kramer's narration was skillful, and his performance enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Thrilling Fantasy Adventure
