Fearless Leadership – Great Book!

This is a must read for those that are on or aspiring to be on a leadership journey. Brendan provides a guide to fearless leadership, overcoming our ingrained fears of uncertainty and self-doubt. He draws from not only his own experiences but also those of very accomplished leaders across various industries and professions. There are so many books out there about leadership but few that address one of the biggest impediments, which is fear. This book provides a straightforward framework that inspires fearless leadership with great insights from a fearless and inspiring leader. I plan to share this book with my team as well as my kids who are embarking on leadership journeys of their own.

Most people walk through life letting the outside world dictate their lives. This book demonstrates how to overcome fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD) by first understanding its root causes, which in many cases are a result of society. The real world examples, both personal and business, help as I think about overcoming my own FUD. The FUD Factor shares a unique perspective on leadership. Through the author’s years of experience and success leading businesses, he demonstrates how leadership is a choice and provides a path to personal and career development. I also like how the audiobook feels more like the narrator is speaking to you, rather than at you. This is a subtle difference but comes through quite nicely.

Great book for young professionals or any aspiring leader in their respective field. Great work, Brendan!

A great starting point on fear

The simple layout, easy stories and relatable message is solid. I would recommend this to anyone starting out in life. For those that already are aware of fear and focused on moving beyond it, the book has some good reminders of lessons learned.

There are a few good ideas, but this is another individual that needs to be boastful in order to feel important.
