I should never have agreed to babysit the NHL's hottest playboy. Or move into his house. Or fake date him, for puck's sake.

Luke Smith only takes one thing in life seriously: Hockey. He thinks every problem can be solved with a grin. And those big brown puppy-dog eyes? His get-out-of-jail-free card. But not this last time… and now it's my job to fix his reputation before he gets traded.

To keep the puck bunnies away, I agree to fake date him. A complete puck-up. Because when we're alone, late at night, and his lips brush against my ear, he's got me breaking all my rules.

He's heaven between the sheets, so walking away is hard. Then cue those puppy-dog eyes, and I'm coming right back for more. And now there's so much more at play than just us…

Because this little blue stick has two pink lines.

The Fake Play is a steamy, fake dating, opposites attract, forced proximity, surprise baby, pro hockey romance. It's the second book in the Pucking Daddies series and can be enjoyed as a standalone. HEA guaranteed!

The male narrator was cringe worthy. His voice was boring and had no emotion. Female narrator I felt was really good. Overall the story was all over the place and really boring. No chemistry between the 2 characters but that could have been the narration of the book and not the story itself.
