I love how he breaks down the book into 10 aspects of the Father’s heart to clearly help readers understand & visualize deep truths of who He is. As someone who did not grow up with a father figure in my life, the Father heart of God has always been a tender, and often, a closed-off spot in my heart. But, this book has been truly impactful in my intimacy with the Father through the Spirit-led words from Mick to us as readers! Great read that you can meditate on chapter by chapter, leaving you in a better relationship with the Father.

My heart needs tending to…

It’s taken me longer than I’ll admit to get through this. Truthfully I’m still not done. My Dad passed in February and every time I get into this book I start to weep. Mick does an amazing job of painting the picture of a good father and His son together, getting through life together, being victorious together. I’m picky. I need more like this. There are many good things to be found here if you choose them.

I read the print version of the book a couple of years ago, and it was very refreshing to listen to the audio book during my morning walks with Jesus! The book definitely feels more personal with the author being the one reading it to you, and Mick’s voice has a very cathartic and soothing tone to it that adds to the story. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to get a renewed view of the Father heart of God!

Heartfelt and Genuine

Loved the stories between Mick and his Family. The revelation of God the Father through these powerful moments, really helps bring understanding to the sometimes impossible feeling task of relating to God as our father.

I also loved hearing the book in Mick's own voice, very well spoken and I love the pace and rhythm.
