Sam and Noel's whirlwind Christmas romance shot through Valentine's Day and is exploding on the Fourth of July!

"You should get married on the 4th," they said. "It will be so romantic," they said.

Did you know that during a pyrotechnic display, a single firework travels 481 feet per second and can take out a small village? Did you know it can also singe the ball hair off of any man standing within a mile radius of said-pyrotechnic display (and singed ball hair smells a lot like a sh*t-filled baby diaper that's been lit on fire), and it can make a vintage wedding dress go up in flames like a barn full of dry hay?

Yeah, me either....

Still very much love The Holidays! The humor is way over the top and for the most part I loved it. There were a few times that it can be a bit too much but it also may be because I'm reading this series back to back. It might be best spread out. Very funny though. The narrators did a fantastic job!

Extremely entertaining!

The great balance of comedy and romance in the first novella has given way to an endless series of crass, running gags about yeast infections, E dysfunction, and Johnsons. It reminds me a bit like Austin Powers or American Pie, where the sequels don’t make an effort to provide more than a whiff of a plot and instead just double down on the cringe. Sure, some of the comedic bits worked (the Turd Ferguson bit was funny), but this was all skit and no sexy.

All hijinks, no heart
