Over the past twenty-five years, five friends reunite for their annual week-long getaway of comradery and adventure. This year, however, Glen Feffley suggested something different; a lake house in the quiet Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. It's quite a departure from their usual trips. Timely and Current Storyline.

I enjoyed this Audiobook extremely! The storyline was very current and realistic. The characters were developed and portrayed as figures that I could vividly picture. Realistic characters with both positive character traits and natural human flaws. It is a perfect book for a teenage boy who enjoys a quick read that will hold his interest, plus it ends with a positive moral message.

decent whodunnit

This one was okay overall. It was an easy listen that moved along at a steady pace and didn’t require a lot of effort to follow. While it didn’t completely pull me in or leave a huge impression, it was still entertaining enough to finish and made for a decent audiobook experience.

Best standalone audiobook I’ve listened to in a long time!

I enjoyed listening to this story on my drive. The narrator did a great job immersing me into the book as well. I felt like I personally knew the characters by the end of the book. Great ending as well! Definitely worth listening to if you’re on a road trip! Made the time go by fast. Looking forward to future releases from this author!

Great story

This isn’t what you’d expect from the 5 buddies rent a cabin type scenario. Great story and character development. While I’d say one or two of the friends seem a bit unlikable the story was still great.
Narration by my favorite narrator, Bobby Garrison, was excellent of course!

The Five by James Wittenborg absolutely blew me away. The storytelling is gripping from start to finish, with characters that feel real and a plot that keeps tightening with every chapter. I found myself completely pulled in—listening every chance I got.

The narration on Audible was fantastic and brought every moment to life. If you’re looking for something smart, engaging, and impossible to stop listening to, this is it.
