This classic work highlights the biblical basis for the distinctive Presbyterian form of Church Government. It is useful for Presbyterians to gain a better understanding of their unique government and appreciate the liberty and protection it brings. It is also helpful for non-Presbyterians, if they are interested in learning the Presbyterian position. The narrator does a great job of being personable, yet treating the content with the solemnity it deserves. Something that stands out is the author’s use of Old Testament texts to support Presbyterianism.
