Not her best but a good story, just not great.

I love Celia Rees's works normally, she is one of my favorites even though she is more for teens than adults. I have loved everything she has written. While this was not terrible, it was not great. It is worth the listen and the narrator is very good, it just was not as great as Pirates or Sovay. Maybe I was too distracted by things around me when I listened, it just did not hit me as her other novels have.

Good story, well read. Had a brief lull, but nothing that made me want to stop listening.
