Better story than virtual narration

Grace is an FBI agent with a traumatic childhood experience when she was 6. As a result, she refuses to work any cases involving children. While investigating the brutal death of a pastor, she keeps seeing posters regarding a missing child. Since the sheriff seems unwilling to give Grace any real answers, she decides to investigate the child's disappearance. Good police procedural and good characters. The story does move a tad slow at times, but is overall enjoyable.

Good story. Kept me engaged from that standpoint. Character development could maybe have been better.

AI voice, not so much. Took away from the story and was distracting on too many levels.
