In the National Archives, cryptographer Dr. Evelyn Reed uncovers a modern conspiracy hidden within an 1814 letter's cipher: FOUNDATION PROTOCOL ACTIVATION IMMINENT. PHASE ONE TARGET: CAPITOL HILL. Her discovery triggers a remote system wipe and a chilling threat, marking her for elimination by a powerful, unknown enemy.

Disillusioned FBI Agent Marcus Jones, investigating the breach, finds Evelyn's terrifying claims validated when they decode microscopic engravings on the letter, revealing a NEUTRALIZE list of officials and pinpointing the mastermind: untouchable Senator Silas Stealth.

From desperate gambles with Cold War comms techniques to infiltrating the U.S. Capitol itself hours before the attack, they must expose the plot before explosives detonate and democracy falls. Wow moments of surprises.

Serious and intriguing. Wonderful window into codes and ciphers as well as the benefit of persistence. The characters worked together well. Descriptions of encounters were excellent. I also enjoyed the voice actor.

The words were easy to understand. It’s perfect for young people or new English listeners.
