Cool idea and fun story

So I screwed up and listened to this book before the first book in the series—but it still worked. I liked the strange notion of genetic engineering for supernatural capabilities. It was cool. I also liked the rationale of the story’s invasion. It wasn’t obvious and kept me guessing. Unfortunately the other twists were less obscured. I figured out several way before much was explained. I am looking forward to the next books in the story. Recommend for sci-fi fans social, combat or political focus. Two thumbs up.

only question is when is the next audiobook coming.
so i can continue this nail biting series
