You can not read this series without feeling gratitude for Dr. Skousen. Truly brought scripture study to a deeper understanding. I’m that person that has to verify everything. Great conclusion to the set

I loved every book in the series. Great narration. Great tie-ins to the scriptures and other references. I couldn't wait to be in the car working my way thru the chapters everyday.

Excellent reader

Not only is this book thoroughly researched and written by scholar Cleon Skousen but the reading of the material by his grandson is brilliant. He presents just enough emotion to make it come alive and interesting. I highly recommend all audible books read by Adam Skousen.

excellent study aid

the Old Testament can be incredible difficult to understand. this book provides references for all of it's work, and provides an excellent study guide that pulls you into another time.

it helped me understand the Old Testament better.

While the author sometimes put his own interpretation on a particular situation, the book helped with chronology and with genealogy. It helped me stay focused on the events. The author made the Old Testament interesting, and that is saying something.
